Biophysics of Ionizing Radiation and Radiation Safety – ME5050(EN)

The English radiation protection course is offered in each summer semester, mainly for English speaking students of the Molecular Life Science program. The course includes a lecture during the semester and an internship during the semester break linked to the German radiation protection course.

Bachelor's and Master's Theses

As part of our research projects and collaborations with various institutes, there are always potential topics for bachelor’s and master’s theses as well as internships.

Currently, students are being supervised in the areas of radioactive labeling, 3D printing of phantoms for imaging, and the characterization of a PET prototype.

For all projects, successful completion of a radiation safety course leading to the appropriate certification, as well as laboratory experience, is advantageous.
